I purchased tickets for a christmas gift for my son for wrestlemania 37 and paid 345 dollars i called vivid seats to see if they had received my payment they said they did but in order to activate the tickets I would have to purchase a 200 dollar ebay card I told them that that wasn't in their advertisement and told them just to give me a refund they told me that they wouldn't be able to do that unless I paid the 200 dollars extra on an eBay card or if WrestleMania was canceled, so I am now disputing it with my bank when I talked to the representative he told me to go purchase an eBay card or a vivid seats card from Kroger, and he would activate my ticket he never told me it was a gift card u found that out from the representative at Kroger they had them for 50 and 200 dollars, so I called vivid seats back and that's when they told me to purchase the 200 dollar card not the 50 dollar card

No Refund After A Canceled Event
Today is the day of my event that was canceled over 2 months ago and I did not receive a refund or credit. IN FACT.....they told me the event was only "postponed" which is BS - it is canceled!
The stadium did not even issue tickets because the event was canceled before tickets were printed and distributed. They are telling me to "hold on to my tickets and when the event is rescheduled I can use the tickets" - THERE ARE NO TICKETS!!!
So they have just stolen my money and I plan to file a small claims court lawsuit and I have joined a class-action lawsuit against them.My bank has also stepped in even though it was last February when the tickets were purchased. They are also going to try and get my money back.DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH VIVID SEATS - EVER!!!

Verified BuyerFAILURE TO REFUND MONIES FOLLOWING CANCELLED EVENT
My event was cancelled due to COVID on 3.12.20. I called Vivid that day and was told I'd be issued a FULL refund as soon as they receive notice from the venue.
On 3.18.20 I received email noting event cancelled and if I wanted a FULL CASH REFUND no further action required. I called and was told 3-5 days but email did say 2-4 weeks. When I followed up I was told they can't provide me an ETA for my refund. They then ignored me a week until I got the email with their new policy.
They totally cancelled my refund request and gave me a credit. I called on 4.22.20 and was told they have no money and accountant trying to figure it out. I declined the credit once again. I told them this was unethical and bad business.
Now they state my previous refund is null and my new start date is 22nd for request. They are ignoring my phone calls. I requested my bank and PayPal temporarily credit my funds but they denied my claim stating Vivid shows they owe me no refund! They are absolute CROOKS!
After the world does return to normal events will reopen again and you can believe I will NEVER spend another dollar of my hard earned money with them again as all you have at the end of the day is your word and their 100% guarantee promise is a load of BULL!

Interesting, I also got an email stating I needed to respond within 7 days to get the refund, or else I get credit at 110% the value, and they did provide a link to do that. I did respond within a couple of days, and I got an email back from support "clarifying things".
Their clarification was that if I responded within 7 days to this new email, I can get my refund, or 120% credit. I did not respond within 7 days of that second email, so it is reverting back to the 110% credit, not the new120%, instead of the cash refund that I am owed since I met the original 7 day requirement. I had a little back and forth with support telling them I expect my refund, then they stopped communicating.
I found a spot on their website to try a different route, and after a few days now still no response. So far, horrible experience with Vivid.
