Vivid Seats - They don't return calls and don't refund in full
I have purchased from them multiple times over the years without an issue yet on 9/7 I purchased tickets for a tigers vs. indians game on 9/11 which was rained out.
The team stated anyone who attended could exchange for a different game, but Vivid couldn't do that and said my tickets were only to that specific game and I had to wait for the rescheduled date which never happened and was cancelled. They told me upon cancellation I would receive my refund automatically, which I of course had to initiate and they seemed surprised about. I received only a partial refund today. After being transferred to the 4th department someone finally told me I was only refunded partial due to shipping.
I informed the agent I did not have them shipped I printed off their website which they then told me that counts as shipping also and we are keeping your extra monies.
I have since filed a dispute with pay pal as Vivid's own site says we refund all except shipping, but there was not shipping involved at all.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $5.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
Vivid Seats Cons: Customer service, Web site and customer service, Service fee.
